Pultruded FRP gratings are made of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP [GRP]). Pultruded fiberglass reinforced plastic (GRP) grating consists of pultruded load bars connected to each other by tie rods. The grating can be made of polyester, vinylester or phenolic resins. Phenolic resins have excellent fire resistance properties. Pultruded grating is suitable for large span, high load applications. Pultruded grating is highly fire resistant and can be used in a variety of heavy industrial environments and chemical, aggressive and corrosive conditions.

SAFETY SURFACE: Most pultruded grating has a coarse epoxy grit bonded to the bearings and crossbars on the walking surface.
