Molded Fiberglass Grating combines fiberglass roving with a thermoset resin system to form a strong one-piece molded panel. It is available in square and rectangular grids with a smooth surface, or with a standard concave surface and optional gravel top. Molded fiberglass grating offers superior tensile strength, corrosion resistance, light weight and long service life. It also offers cost-effective solutions and long-lasting performance for many industrial and recreational applications.
- It has a similar weight-to-strength ratio to aluminum rod grating, but is typically cheaper and more corrosion resistant.
- The vinyl ester we stock contains premium resins that are highly resistant to a variety of chemicals and outdoor conditions.
- Fiberglass grating is non-conductive, UV resistant and flame retardant.
- Fiberglass grating is available in a variety of colors to meet your application requirements and cut pieces are available upon request!
Concave/Curved Crescent Surface
It has a natural crescent shape that provides an excellent non-slip base in most environments, including wet or oily environments. It is the standard surface for molded fiberglass grating.
Flat
Flat surfaces are suitable for building fences, shading systems or as space dividers around power plants.
Gravel Surface
Gravel Surface can be used for panels to improve safety. It is immersed in the mold, will not flake and provides the best non-slip surface.
Enclosed Surface
This surface allows for the placement of gravel boards or patterned boards on a non-slip surface and is ideal for preventing liquid leaks and gas evaporation.
Because we own and operate our own facility, we are able to custom manufacture any color from a color card, provide translucent grilles for an aesthetically pleasing architectural appearance, and fabricate custom panel sizes for large repetitive applications.
